About Dr. Ogoudou
From a very young age, I’ve always felt called to help people.
That calling naturally led me to study medicine, where I discovered the profound privilege and responsibility that come with being a physician. My medical path began in France, where I earned my MD degree in 2009 at the Faculté de Médecine François Rabelais in Tours. I completed my residency training in Family Medicine at the Faculté de Médecine Bichat in Paris in 2014.
My medical training was a journey of awe and gratitude. It opened my eyes to the remarkable complexity of the human body; its resilience, intelligence, and natural capacity for healing. I came to understand that medicine is not merely about treating symptoms, but about guiding and supporting the very processes of life itself.
When I had the opportunity to continue my career in the United States, I discovered a healthcare system that strives for precision and efficiency, often within limited timeframes. While this approach has many strengths, it inspired me to seek ways to bring deeper connection and individualized care to the medical experience. I later earned my degree as a Naturopathic Doctor from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard in 2025, along with certifications in clinical nutrition, homeopathic medicine, botanical medicine, homeopathy, and acupuncture.
For me, the connection between doctor and patient is the cornerstone of true healing. Medicine is not only about diagnosing and prescribing; it’s about listening, understanding, and empowering each person to take an active role in their well-being.
I believe it is far better to prevent illness or to listen to the early whispers of our body than to wait for those signs to grow louder. As Benjamin Franklin wisely said, “An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” This belief has always guided my approach to care.
Naturopathic medicine, supported by a growing body of scientific research, recognizes the body’s innate wisdom and ability to heal. I’m passionate about blending the best of both worlds: the evidence-based rigor of modern medicine with the natural, preventive, and compassionate principles of holistic care.
Today, my goal is to help my patients navigate natural, non-invasive, and gentle approaches to health by addressing root causes and supporting the body’s own healing potential, while also guiding them toward conventional medical care when appropriate and ensuring they know when it is necessary to seek it.
To me, medicine is a lifelong journey of curiosity and gratitude. I am proud, humbled, and deeply thankful to walk this path of helping others reconnect with their body’s remarkable ability to heal and to guide them toward lasting wellness and balance.
